Sit Down Please

By Tingander

Eetu's original design from 2019.
The name of the collection is HODIE. It is Latin, and means today.
The idea was to create timeless furniture that, nonetheless,
is stylistically connected to its design era.

The oak has acquired a matte finish, the ash parts have been dyed black. The grain pattern of ash is stronger than that of oak, so in black it looks more like oak than oak. The black color has been given a little depth by staining the wood black and spraying a light black tinted catalytic varnish on top of the stain.

The seat of the armchair is bent from arctic birch, lightly padded and covered with cowhide.
The backrest flexes comfortably when leaning.
